Your email address

There are a few reasons why you might choose to give us your email address.

  • You subscribe to our newsletter.
  • You post a comment on the website

In each case your email address is stored securely although not always on our server. Newsletter subscriptions are held securely on Campaign Monitor. For information on their privacy policies please visit their website. Comments are handled by the plugin Jetpack from which email addresses are stored securely within our own database and will not be used for any reason apart from replying to your comment.

We will never share your email address with anybody outside these suppliers and our own company Fannin.

If at any point you wish your email address to be removed from any of these systems just drop us an email at info@fannin.eu

 

Cookies

We use cookies on the Fannin website to track user activity on the site and to enable various types of functionality. While we will endeavour to keep the list below updated, the Fannin site relies on many third party services and the list may therefore become out of date if those services alter the cookies they use.

First party cookies

Name Purpose
w3tc_referrer WordPress W3 Total Cache plugin cookie. Stores a session ID needed to aid the website performance. Expires at the end of the session.
PHPSESSID Used by WordPress to identify a specific user session. Expires at the end of the session.
__jid Expires at the end of the session.

Third party cookies

Name Purpose
Cookies with names prefixed by __utm Stores information used by Google Analytics to track user activity on the site.
pid, k, guest_id, _twitter_sess, original_referer, external_referer, js, Twitter cookies which allow content from Twitter to be shown on website pages and pages to be shared on Twitter.
datr, lu, s, locale, c_user, xs Facebook cookies which allow sharing of a page on Facebook.
