2017 was a successful year for Fannin Surgical as they achieved “Highest Dollar Growth in the Calendar Year” from Zimmer Biomet; our largest surgical supplier and includes almost 80% of Fannin surgical sales in the UK & Ireland.
Based out of Jacksonville Florida, Zimmer Biomet specialise in cranio-maxillofacial, cardio-thoracic and neuro-surgery. Their range of custom implants are highly complex surgical solutions for patients who have had facial bones resected due to cancer, have genetic deformities or may have lost bone or function through facial trauma. Apart from the cosmetic impact this could have on a patient, these unique solutions allow patients to recover completely so they can eat normally, breath without difficulty and carry on with daily life.
Fannin’s experienced team of five, managed by Peter Hodgson; cover specialist hospitals across the UK and Ireland utilising their experience, knowledge and key contacts to become the highest growing distributer sales team in Europe for the calendar year 2017.
This is yet another string to the team’s bow after securing the UK’s two largest users of Cranio-Maxillofacial TMJ Implants, protecting an increasingly competitive Neuro market, as well as supplying pectus support bars to half of all procedures carried out in the UK.
