In 2013, as part of DCC Vital’s strategy to grow the scale and breadth of company owned brands in the Medical Device area, Fannin acquired Leonhard Lang UK, the UK subsidiary of Leonhard Lang GmbH (Austria), the market leading supplier of electrodes and electrosurgical consumables in the UK.
This business had an innovative and expanding product base and was considered to be very complimentary to Fannin’s existing medical devices and consumables activities in the UK and Ireland, bringing new expertise, an expanded product portfolio and strong customer relationships.
Fannin now markets these products under our own Skintact brand, and are now the market leading supplier of electrodes and diathermy consumables to hospitals and emergency services in the UK and Irealnd.
