Ethypharm Emergency Medicines

Ethypharm & Fannin Ltd deliver an Aurum Range of emergency medicines including Pre-Filled Syringes used in emergency situations; ambulances, Accident and Emergency Departments and Operating Theatres.  Many of these products are first-line, life-saving treatments.

Ethypharm manufacture in-house and commercialise  a wide range of drugs addressing the principle issues in emergency medicine; cardiac function and blood pressure, pain and metabolic homeostasis as well as differentiated products for specific uses such as Apnoea of Prematurity, emergency ENT surgery and paracetamol overdose.

The Aurum Range comprises 9 emergency medicine products for use in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and in the operating theatre environment. The molecules and doses have been chosen to meet the published recommendations from guidelines on resuscitation. This range of fully assembled, ready-to-use, pre-filled syringes (PFS), are uniquely presented in colour differentiated packaging according to the class of drug, packed with tamper-evident labels and in high-visibility rigid plastic boxes and provide on-the-spot administration of drugs for resuscitation in emergency conditions.

These emergency medicines have been specifically designed to offer rapid administration of drug alongside other medical interventions. Compared to the alternative of using ampoules and drawing up product into a syringe for administration using the Aurum Range saves time and avoids dosing errors.
