ARIS◊ COBLATION◊ TURBINATE REDUCTION WAND

Ablate at the rate you need!

Designed for versatility, the ARIS COBLATION Turbinate Reduction Wand allows the degree of tissue removal to be varied when treating hypertrophic turbinates submucosally, depending on the patient indication. Utilising advanced COBLATION Plasma Technology, it provides a minimally invasive procedure with:

  • Visibility: Intraoperative, visual reduction of the turbinate4
  • Hemostasis: Targeted hemostasis and a built-in bi-polar coagulation function at low temperatures3
  • Control: Three ablation and coagulation modes for the desired tissue effect1,2

The ARIS COBLATION Wand is designed specifically for the WEREWOLF ENT Controller. Featuring easy and intuitive set-up,5 the integrated pump is designed to provide consistent saline delivery for efficient plasma formation.6

Technical Details

Single-step insertion

Cottle tip creates an incision and provides a channel for submucosal access, without the need for additional instrumentation.4

Designed to reduce clogging*

Large, single-opening electrode is designed to break down tissue on all exposed surfaces (including the inner rim), with a tip-clearing stylet tool designed to clear clogs easily.

Controlled thermal effect

A controlled, directional thermal effect (blanching) allows the surgeon to target away from, and preserve, the medial mucosa**7 while providing hemostasis.

Improved shaft diameter

Compared to our TURBINATOR Wand, the ARIS COBLATION Wand features an 18% increase in the internal shaft diameter while offering a 17% reduction in the external shaft diameter.  The ARIS COBLATION Wand is the smallest COBLATION Wand with integrated saline delivery and suction.*
