Magnetic Pull-Cord Alarm

Personal Magnetic Pull-Cord Alarms are easy-to-use, reliable, and will suit just about every situation where a high fall risk patient needs monitoring. This simple alarm is easy-to-operate, allows a quick response, is reliable, durable and economical. These alarms are great for patients who simply need a reminder to sit or lie back down or call for help.

The pull cord clips to the patient’s clothes and, when the patient moves too far and the cord is pulled, the magnetic hold will disengage and sound the alarm. A spring-loaded clip on the unit allows for easy attachment to a wheelchair. The pull string has a 25 mm (1 in) diameter magnet on one end and a spring-loaded metal clip on the other. When the magnet is pulled away from the alarm, the alarm is triggered and the red light illuminates.

The alarm is also equipped with a tool-free battery door and a red low battery light that flashes when the battery is low and in need of replacement.
