ENGINEERED FOR ULTRASOUND

The Portex® EchoGlo® Peripheral Nerve Block Needle has been engineered for echogenic brightness over a wide angular range – whether steep and deep, or shallow conditions – for enhanced visualization and to enable accurate delivery of medication.

Illuminating design

The echogenic helical design is a proprietary design with a combination of clockwise and counter clockwise grooves. The grooves are engineered to reflect acoustic energy back to the transducer allowing for echogenic visibility.

Pitch Perfect

The EchoGlo® PNB needle groove incorporates a smaller pitch, resulting in an increased “feature density,” thereby creating more echogenicity than a regular needle.
